We are breeders and suppliers of Boer goats and offer a number of outdoor bred, pasture raised doelings and bucks for sale.
Boer goats are a native South African breed first imported to the UK in 1987. They are best known as a ‘meat’ goat providing a well formed carcass but they also have very creamy, rich milk. It has a high butterfat content and is comparable in taste to the best milking breeds.
Boer goats are very hardy and have more ‘waterproofing’ than dairy breeds and we often see them grazing in fairly heavy rain. They have a docile and inquisitive nature, are easily handled and are able to breed virtually throughout the year.
We are currently offering four beautiful doelings born in May 2022. Belle, Flash, Bonnie and Aphid are friendly, hand tame and easy to handle. They would make an ideal starter flock and are priced from £140 each.
